TERTIARY student William Circelli has been named the 2019 KCA Millicent Mill Scholarship recipient.
Mill manager Scott Whicker said William had successfully completed the first year a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Electrical and Electronic) at Adelaide University.
He said Mr Circelli was raised in Mount Gambier with immediate family still residing there.
“He has a strong academic record and has displayed outstanding personal qualities which assisted in making him a worthy recipient,” Mr Whicker said.
“We look forward to assisting him as he works towards completing his degree in 2021.”
For most years since the 1970s, the company has awarded a generous annual scholarship to a local secondary school graduate or university student.
A number of scholarship recipients have continued to work for the company after graduation.
For others, the scholarship has been a launching pad for their entry into the wider business world.
