Loose comedy act heads south for national tour

NO HOLDS BARRED: Notorious comedian Alex Williamson will return to Mount Gambier on February 9. Picture: MATT HOFMANN

CONTROVERSIAL comedian and social media giant Alex Williamson is gearing up for his Mount Gambier return next month, armed with all-new material for his “one hour honesty session”.

Williamson is notorious for his no holds barred approach to comedy which has amassed a loyal following in the international comedy circuit as well as online where he has three million followers.

Best known to his fans for his “loosest Aussie bloke” and “bogan Aussie” characters, Williamson’s latest batch of parodies, songs and stand-up comedy will be on show at Mount Gambier’s Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre on February 9 as part of his So Wrong, It’s Wrong national tour.

Nothing is off limits for Williamson with drugs, sex and terrorism among the themes touched on during his set.

Tickets are available online and at the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre.

The show is an all ages event, but recommended for patrons aged 16 and over.
