Senior school celebration

CHAPTER COMPLETED: Penola High School Year 12 students celebrated their final year of schooling on Friday night with a special graduation dinner.

PENOLA High School has celebrated its class of 2018 with graduates joined by family, friends and teaching staff for a special dinner at Chardonnay Lodge on Friday.

Each student was highlighted throughout the night as they took the opportunity to reflect on their 12 years of school education.

Although absent, Penola High School teacher Winsley Wighton provided each student with a rose to commemorate the milestone in their lives.

School student representative council spokesperson Emily Winter presented a short video of each student combined with a song of their choice.

Year 12 head teachers Miriam Williams and Michael Hentschke gave students their Chalky Awards, representing a memorable action completed throughout the year.

SRC representative Jack Walker and Year 12 student Joe French responded with some humorous Mr and Mrs Men awards for the teaching staff.
