Woman walks away uninjured from car rollover

A MILLICENT woman was lucky to escape injury following a vehicle rollover last week.

At 9.20am on Thursday, emergency services including Mount Burr and Millicent Country Fire Service brigades, South Australian Ambulance Service and South Australian Police responded to a vehicle accident 25km south-west of Penola.

A 27-year-old woman was the sole occupant of the 2000 Ford sedan, which rolled on the way to Millicent.

The airbags were activated before the driver climbed out of the vehicle and phoned emergency services.

She was conveyed to Mount Gambier Hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries.

The vehicle was towed from the scene and the matter was closed, following police investigation.
