THE Mount Gambier Longriders Christian Motorcyle Club recently held its Blue Lake City Custom/Classic Bike and Car Show to raise funds for suicide awareness.

The event was hailed a success by its organisers and raised $10,000 for chosen charities Lifeline South East and Stand By.

“It was a great pleasure for the club to present these charities with $5000 each as a result of the bike and car show,” club secretary John Bruttomesso said.

“The event was a great success and we are grateful for the support of our sponsors and the community members that came along.

“Events like this would not be successful without this help.”
