Riders raise health funds

POSITIVE OUTCOME: Longriders Christian Motorcycle Club president Terry Lynagh and vice president Graeme Cleves along with other club members present a $5000 cheque to Lifeline South East’s Eve Barratt.

THE Mount Gambier Longriders Christian Motorcyle Club recently held its Blue Lake City Custom/Classic Bike and Car Show to raise funds for suicide awareness.

The event was hailed a success by its organisers and raised $10,000 for chosen charities Lifeline South East and Stand By.

“It was a great pleasure for the club to present these charities with $5000 each as a result of the bike and car show,” club secretary John Bruttomesso said.

“The event was a great success and we are grateful for the support of our sponsors and the community members that came along.

“Events like this would not be successful without this help.”

GREAT CAUSE: Longriders Christian Motorcycle Club president Terry Lynagh and vice president Graeme Cleves with club members present a $5000 donation to StandBy’s Tracey Wanganeen.
