NEW EQUIPMENT: McDonald Park School students Kayla, Lily, Maelee, Lachlan, Elijah, Layne and Riley show off some of the items received as part of the Woolworths Earn and Learn Program.

MCDONALD Park School students and staff have welcomed an abundance of new equipment thanks to the Woolworths Earn and Learn Program.

From sporting equipment to science materials and items for the kitchen garden, the school is ready to tackle the year ahead in all areas of education.

One of 15,000 across the country to benefit from the program, deputy principal Sharon Day said they are very appreciative of the new equipment.

“Thank you to Woolworths and the school community for supporting the campaign with the stickers – the equipment received is very beneficial and will greatly enhance student learning,” she said.

Presenting the equipment to the school during an assembly, Woolworths assistant store manager Diana Bradbury said the program could not continue without community support.

“Thank you to everyone in the community – kids, teachers, parents, grandparents and friends – for your efforts in collecting stickers to help your school earn equipment,” she said.

“We look forward to seeing and hearing how this wonderful equipment is being used and all the best for your learning journey ahead.”
