LV Dohnt celebrations

IN STYLE: Peterson Pacific’s Larry Cummins at the LV Dohnt and Company celebrations.

LV DOHNT and Company held its 85th birthday celebration last month in Nangwarry, while also officially opening the company’s new workshop.

Held in the Nangwarry Musuem on November 25, the theme of the night saw guests celebrate in 1930s outfits.

Speakers on the evening included Komatsu Forestry sales manager Brenton Yon, who discussed the history of chipping over the past 25 years.

Tigercat International chief executive officer Ken McDonald also spoke about the great relationship between both companies and the innovation to improve skidders and fellerbunches.

Midway managing director Tony Price discussed topical issues such as the Blue Gum Industry and LVD as a contractor.

Member for Barker Tony Pasin was also present and acknowledged the family’s significant achievement of reaching 85 years.

Mr Pasin also lifted the LVD Way banner for the new gantry crane in the company’s new workshop.
