Council helps teens chase sporting success

GRANTS to four Millicent teenagers have recently been made by the Wattle Range Council Youth Development Foundation.

The quartet each received $200 towards their expenses in competing in an interstate soccer tournament.

Nathan Tucker, Sam Linton and siblings Letitia and Julian Izzo attended the 2017 Christian Football Federation National Titles in Narrabeen, New South Wales, as representatives in the South Australian Christian Soccer teams.

Letitia played in the Under 16 Women’s, Julian in the Under 16 Mens teams and Nathan and Sam in the Under 18 Men’s team.
The presentations were made on behalf of council by mayor Peter Gandolfi.
