Awards for young apprentices

THE Automotive Industry Group South East (AIGSE) handed out its awards to individual trainees and apprentices to commend full-time apprentices in the automotive industry.

After Covid-19 restrictions had affected

All winners were nominated by their respective employers, registered training organisation, schools or Australian Apprenticeship Centre.

The categories were open to full-time apprentices who currently worked in the Limestone Coast automotive industry, as well as for students undertaking training an Australian school based apprenticeship or a specific training centre across the Limestone Coast.

Some categories included Most Outstanding Student, Most Improved, the Judges Award and individual heavy and light vehicle awards corresponding to the amount of years in the position.

The Silver event sponsors for the night were the Barry Many Group, Tuffnel family, K & S Freighters and Mount Gambier Isuzu.

Gold event sponsors included Tafe SA and Burson Auto Parts.
