Fire danger dates announced

SOUTH Australian Country Fire Service (CFS) has announced the fire danger season will start in the Upper South East on November 15 and the Lower South East on November 22.

Acting preparedness operations director Brett Loughlin said the dates were normal for the Upper and Lower South East, but still urged people to be prepared.

“The South East has experienced a fairly normal winter period, so it is not as dry as other areas of the state,” Mr Loughlin said.
