Show stopping performance set for theatre stage

DANCING THEIR WAY BACK THROUGH TIME: Performers Shay Debney and Mikey Halcrow turn back the clock in Just a Couple of Song and Dance Men.

TOE-TAPPING, show-stopping performance Just a Couple of Song and Dance Men will take audiences time-travelling at the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre next week.

The show turns back the clock to the Hollywood era of movie musicals, with Just a Couple of Song and Dance Men combining sensational dance routines and songs of immortalised producers such as Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Bing Crosby, Donald O’Connor and Frank Sinatra.

With plenty of acclaimed golden age hits and dance moves, Just a Couple of Song and Dance Men promises to gives audience members a sneak peek into the 1970s, leaving them with a smile and a spring in their step.

Multi-talented Shay Debney and Mikey Halcrow dance and sing up a storm with some of the most memorable music ever written.

Bookings can be made online at www.countryarts.org.au or via the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre’s Box Office for the show, which will be staged at 11am on Wednesday as part of the CountryArts SA Morning Melodies program.
