NUTRIEN Ag Solutions Mount Gambier stock agent Dale Keatley (pictured) said the recent softer weather conditions had been favourable for livestock.

“The lambs are looking great and are all marked now, ready for the late spring sales,” Mr Keatley said.

“It has not been an overly wet winter which is great for livestock.

Mr Keatley said spring lamb percentages had

been high right across the Limestone Coast and feed had grown well.

“We are in God’s country here, we are very lucky the season always goes very well,” he said.

“Commodity prices are good and farmers have all had a pretty good year with prices, the processors are wanting our product.”
