BULK BUY: Bruce Gladigau – flanked by Graham and Tayla Westgarth – was the highest volume buyer at the recent Yarramie Poll Dorsets ram sale.

AN average of $981 was reached at the recent Yarramie Poll Dorsets ram sale at the Mount Gambier and District Saleyards with 63 rams sold.

This was a higher average than past sales for the stud, with high prices received across the board.

Selling agents from Green Triangle Livestock and Landmark Keatley agree the ram sale was a success.

Mount Gambier producer Jeff Braun purchased the highest priced ram at the sale for $2500.

Compton’s Bruce Gladigau was the highest volume buyer, purchasing 12 rams at the sale.

Both buyers were repeat Yarramie customers and were recognised for their purchases.

Yarramie Poll Dorsets’ Graham Westgarth was pleased with the sale outcome.

“The Glenburnie saleyards host the ram sale because the central location and the canteen for lunch makes conducting easy for us,” he said.

“The Westgarth family extend thanks to all clients who purchased rams at the sale.”
