AUSSIE thrash metal band Hidden Intent will headline a chaotic show at Flanagans Irish Pub on Saturday night.

One of the top up and coming metal bands in the country, the Adelaide-based three-piece has been carving its way through the masses with unabashedly unapologetic ’80s throwback thrash metal.

The group’s style embraces its American and European roots as well as Scandinavian and Teutonic thrash scenes.

The band has toured across Europe and the USA, with several albums and a fast expanding fan base.

This weekend will mark the group’s first appearance in Mount Gambier.

Hidden Intent will be supported by local black metal band Christ Dismembered after a highly successful national tour off the back of brand new single Spit Forth Your Lies.

Christ Dismembered delivers an intense and frightening act and the band is known for a morbid and chaotic live show – not for the faint of heart.

Making a debut live performance, brand new local punk group The Fifth of June will open the show.

The Fifth of June features members of past bands Bittersweet Fall, Train of Nought and Redemption’s Wake.

The gig will be free entry and open to all ages, with bands starting just after 8pm.
