ALLENDALE East Area School students were given a sneak peak about what it is like to be in a circus in the lead-up to the Fringe in Mount Gambier festivities last week.

Dozens of students from the school were involved in workshops hosted by Madhouse Circus Performers.

The dynamic circus performers were among the highlights of the Fringe festival in the Blue Lake city.

Held in the school’s gymnasium, students were given tips on how to juggle, perform acrobatics and even use a hula-hoop during the hour-long workshops.

Madhouse Circus Performers also held workshops at other schools, including Gordon Education Centre.

Madhouse Circus is a contemporary circus company, which formed in 2012.
