Making it Reyne – Icon returns to city

RETURNING: After performing in Mount Gambier as part of the Red Hot Summer Tour, James Reyne will return with his duo show in May next year.

AUSTRALIAN music icon James Reyne will bring his A Crawl to Now tour to Mount Gambier next year.

Taking a regional run through the country, Reyne will perform 20 dates throughout March, April and May next year.

The last stop on the tour will be in the Blue Lake city at the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre on May 19.

Reyne will be joined by guitarist Josh Owen in acoustic duo format for an unforgettable show highlighting Reyne’s career highlights.

A Crawl to Now is a 90-minute live show featuring songs selected from over 20 albums representing an extensive catalogue.

“This will be a comprehensive look at the past unto the present,” Reyne said.

“I’ve sifted through all of the Australian Crawl material with the intention of performing it ‘songbook’ style.

“To bring out the solo material again and reimagine those songs acoustically is always fun – I’m very excited about these shows.”
