ROCK SHOWCASE: Acolyte will headline a rock showcase at Flanagan’s Irish Pub this Saturday night alongside two local acts.

MELBOURNE rockers Acolyte will perform in Mount Gambier this weekend as part of the Space and Time tour.

Supported by Mount Gambier acts Bittersweet Fall and Train of Nought, the event will provide music lovers with an epic showcase of talent.

Acolyte’s Shades of Black EP received plenty of attention from heavy rock fans and landed the band a supporting slot on Twelve Foot Ninja’s national tour.

Now the band has set off on its own tour of the country stopping off at major cities and a selection of regional locations.

The tour is expected to be the last of the album cycle for Shades of Black before the band releases new music next year.

This year the act released an epic eight minute music video for the track Space and Time.

The mesmerising vocals of Morgan-Leigh Brown complement the undulating, light and shade track which showcases the work of Acolyte’s experienced musicians.

Acolyte will perform at Flanagan’s Irish Pub on Saturday night with free entry and all ages welcome until midnight.
