THE ultimate award for the A Grade best and fairest will be handed out at the Mid South Eastern Netball Association medal count on Sunday, with plenty of players in the mix.
Kalangadoo has been in impressive form and finished the season undefeated, but could suffer the problem of stealing votes from one another.
Their defence line of Chelsea Croser and Mikaila Pitt have been outstanding and both girls will poll a lot of votes, while Melissa Russell has been at her usual best in the goal circle.
Likewise Hatherleigh has enjoyed a strong season, second to Kalangadoo after the completion of the minor rounds.
Maddie Pulmer has been impressive at either end of the court, while Tegan Merrett has shown plenty of pace through the mid-court.
Lacey Haines in goals, along with Lara McGregor in the mid-court, will also poll votes.
Mount Burr jumped to third spot on the ladder after the weekend with some strong play throughout the season.
Heidi Clark has been outstanding and has combined well with Madi Haggett in defence.
The pair have been in the best players most weeks and should top the votes for the Burr.
Ebony Clark should also feature in the votes, shooting accurately and a focal point for the Mozzies.
Tantanoola round out the top four in what has been a settled side.
Emma Gould should poll well after a strong season at GS, along with team-mate Casey Walker on the attacking wing.
Jami Walker will also poll well, with consistent netball every week.
Glencoe finished just outside the four and will also have some contenders.
Sarah Edwards at GD has been consistent, with her speed and aerial skills sure to catch the umpires eye.
Sister Ashlea Edwards is also expected to poll well after a consistent year at WA.
Robe finished behind Glencoe, after losing players early in the season which hampered their push for finals.
Defender Georgia Perkins will poll votes, along with goalies Tori Gluyas and Sarah Laurie.
Port MacDonnell had a disappointing season and has not won enough games to poll many votes.
Leading for the Demons will likely be Morgan Amy who was consistent in defence for the Bay, along with Michelle Moore through the centre.
Brooke Williams will also poll some votes with accurate shooting performances.
Nangwarry and Kongorong finished on the bottom of the ladder.
Nangwarry had an unlucky year with injury and not able to have the same team two weeks in a row.
Hayley Burner may have polled some votes for them before her injury, while Ange Pratt and Cassie Dinnison have played the most games for the Saints and might poll a few.
For the Hawks who have been win-less in 2021, it is hard to see them gaining many votes at all.
Should they snatch some, the attacking duo of Riley Buckingham and Ella McIntyre would lead the way.
