Reinders does it again

RESPECT was paid to former Millicent Bowls Club member Pat Hitchcock who passed away last week, with a minute’s silence observed before the 2-4-2 competition.

A strong field of 42 bowlers registered for the competition, with two teams of triples included to ensure everyone had a game.

Joy Warren and Andre Reinders were successful on the day with a score of 34+10, Reidner’s second win in as many weeks, with Warren a new up and coming bowler.

In second place was the team of David Reichelt and visiting bowler Mark Ryan with a score of 33+14.

Other winning teams for the day were the triple of Robin Rolfe/Peter Bateman/Iain Campbell with 33+12, Malcolm Wright/Peter Varcoe 33+10, Brian Goode/Neil Whelan 33+9, Robert Radley/Bob Baxter 32+1, Graham Loveday/John Scudds 32+5, Graham Parsons/Terry Barnes 31+3, Lurlene Reinders/Carl Schapel 30+1, plus Alby Cecotti/Lyn Scudds 29+2.
