Perfect winter conditions

MILLICENT Bowls Club continued its winter 2-4-2 competition last week, with 34 players taking to the greens in ideal conditions.

The winners with a score of 33+23 shots up was the team of David Botting and Andre Reinders.

Denis Clifford and Carl Schapel finished runners-up with a score of 33+7.

Other winning teams were one of the triples teams of Ella Pietersma/Derrick Lindh/John Buhlmann with a score of 32+12, along with David Nuske/David Reichelt 32+1, Graham Loveday/Dirk Pietersma 31+10, Robert Radley/Adriana Ross 31+4 Mary Clifford/Neil Whelan 30+1 and Ian Ross/Bill Burdon 29+3.
