Ideal conditions for final round

THE Port MacDonnell Sailing Club wound up its season on the weekend, with two races staged in pleasant conditions.

The first race kept binoculars glued to eyes as the competitive field vied for the honours.

Club handicap honours went to Tom Paltridge and Lesa Van Uitert on Windy Fred, from Don McLennan, Peter Seebohm and Stephen Dyble onHarmony, with Morris Dickins, Nick Watson, Stella Harfield and Bruce Douglas third on Freycinet.

Class handicap also went to Windy Feed, ahead of Freycinet, with Dave Evans, Darryl Brooksby and Peter Gropler third on Farr-Mer.

Farr-Mer claimed the second race on club handicap, from Windy Fred and Mack Ferguson, John Kain and Jennifer Jones on Papillon, with the same finishing order for class handicap.
