A world of fantasy at the Bay

FANTASY Land costumes graced the Port MacDonnell Bowls Club greens this week for its annual Invitation Ladies Fours tournament.

The dress-up day proved popular again and despite Victorian teams excluded due to the coronavirus lockdown, 12 teams entered from Millicent, Penola, Naracoorte, Beachport and Mount Gambier.

Prizes were awarded for best costume, overall winner and winners of each of the four games.

The best costume honours went to Lyn Jones, Elaine Pruis, Roma Henderson and Jean Fisher, while the overall winners were Heather Richards, Beryl Messenger, Leanne Henske and Liz Schroder.
