Action aplenty on Millicent greens

YET again the Millicent Bowls Club greens were full last week for the Night Owls competition,

with plenty of action and lots of camaraderie.

White Division saw Scrappers – Judy Sullivan, Robin Thomas, Jan Buhlmann, Manny Fuentes – defeat Gizzies Crew 30+12.

Other winners were X Factor 29+12, Lion Cubs 28+9, with Beanz Team and Rotary having a draw with 17 and 15.

Blue Division went to Try Hards’ Graham Attiwell, Peter Johns, Arnold Damhuis and Paul Bosco, as they defeated Max’s Four 28+15.

Bits and Pieces 28+8, Birdies 27+15, Somery Seniors 27+2 and Mossies 26+2 were other winners.

In Red Division Untouchables’ John Cockrum, David Reichelt, Barry Smith and Terry Barnes defeated Somerset Legends 27+7.

Other winners were Great Northern Clams 27+3, Tant Tigers 27+1 and The George 26+6, with Maccas and Jack Attack having a draw on 17 and 15.

Touches went to Garry Wilson ( Mossies) 5, John Payne (Somerset Legends) 3, Malcolm McRobert (Maccas) 3, Graham McRobert (Maccas) 3, Bob Reilly (Sparkies) 3, Paul Whitford (Rovers) 3 and Ian Johnson (Tant Tigers) 3.
