Community pride shared

SOUTH East residents are being encouraged to support their town this year and nominate for the annual KESAB Sustainable Communities Program.

The program is a focus for hundreds of regional communities to showcase positive action taken by communities, schools, businesses and councils across South Australia to protect their local environment, enhance their towns, embrace sustainability and showcase their initiatives.

Program manager Alex Hammett said long-term sustainable practices are now entrenched in regional communities and the 2017 awards will showcase the best examples.
