National Science Week activities in Mount Gambier

Melaleuca Park Primary School students Aussie, Mai and Xander enjoy sorting through popular products to find out which is produced locally, internationally and nationally.

STUDENTS across Mount Gambier have learnt different science-based skills this week to coincide with National Science Week.

Children of all ages participated in events hosted at the Mount Gambier Library where they learnt where their food originates from and how to reuse and reduce green waste within the household.

OneFortyOne Plantations also hosted a number of events for high school students where they constructed a water filtration system, navigated through soldering and coding activities and investigated passive solar design.
