Applications open for community grants

THE nib foundation is encouraging local registered charities committed to improving health and wellbeing outcomes to apply for funding as part of its community grants program.

Applications are now open, with the foundation seeking to support grassroots initiatives that address health challenges faced by young people and carers.

Executive officer Amy Tribe said the funding program provided an opportunity for not-for-profit groups to further the good work they do in their local communities.
