Police search for thieves

CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Limestone Coast Police are searching for two men who broke into two Commercial Street West businesses early on Tuesday morning.

LIMESTONE Coast Police are searching for two men who broke into two Mount Gambier businesses early Tuesday, with boxes of shoes, a bag and computer reported missing.

Just before 5am two men broke into the Commercial Street West businesses through a rear roller door with the suspects captured on security cameras.

Police are also seeking information from the public after extensive damage was found to fencing at Allendale East late last week.

Sometime between1.30pm on July 1 and 12.30pm July 2, significant damage was caused to the perimeter fencing surrounding an electricity substation and nearby paddock gate on Lithgows Road.

Police determined the damage was most likely caused by a vehicle crashing through the fencing.

TEEN VANDAL REPORTED

A TEENAGER was reported for property damage after allegedly smashing the window of a Mount Gambier business.

It will be alleged just after midnight on Sunday, the teen kicked the large front window of Commercial Street East business, causing it to smash.

The incident was captured on CCTV.

A 16-year-old Mount Gambier boy was reported on Monday for property damage and will be summonsed to appear in the Mount Gambier Youth Court at a later date.
