Players reach milestones for Saints

THREE players reached milestones for Nangwarry Netball Club in Saturday’s opening round of Mid South East netball.

Tahlia Wilson notched up 100 senior games.

She joined Nangwarry in 2011 from South Gambier to join the 17 and Under side for that year.

Wilson then progressed into the senior ranks, playing the B Grade team which made finals in that same year.

Since then she has been a regular in both the A Reserve and A Grade teams

Brittany Dycer reached 150 senior games after starting her netball career at a later age in 2010 in the B Reserve team.

In that year they made the finals.

Dycer continued in the B Reserve team, then made it into the B Grade where she played in a premiership.

During those years she won numerous club and league trophies.

She has now moved up into the A Reserve team.

Carly Ploenges also reached her 150 senior games milestone.

Ploenges has played for Nangwarry her whole life.

She started in the junior ranks with over 100 games there.

When she moved into the senior team she started in the A Reserves and worked her way up into the A Grade team and has been a pivotal part of that team since.

In 2019 she won her first A Grade best and fairest award for the club.
