MANY bowlers from the South East headed to Adelaide last week for the annual Country Carnival Championships.
In an impressive effort, Mount Gambier RSL bowlers Strawb Masters and Glenn Wright won the Men’s Pairs competition.
The RSL Bowling Club congratulates the pair and are proud to be associated with the two stalwart bowlers.
The club was also well supported in the recent Ladies Round Robin event in Adelaide, with representation from Fleur Roachock, Keisha Pearson, Jane Crowder, Jenny Bowering, Fiona Pearson and Joy Bilney.
All the Ladies performed well and returned with a runner-up position after some exciting bowling over the week.
