Pinkerton Palm Hamlyn and Steen’s 25 year anniversary celebration

PINKERTON Palm Hamlyn and Steen (PPHS) celebrated 25 years in grand style early last month at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

Around 800 guests joined the Naracoorte-based firm’s original directors and staff to celebrate the significant milestone in the company’s history.

Staff from its Penola and Kingston offices also attended the gala event.

Guests were informed of PPHS’ inception in 1994 when four agents joined forces to offer livestock agency services to producers across the Limestone Coast.

Peter Pinkerton and Robin Steen along with Glen Hamlyn and Michael Palm were already operating independently in what was a tough climate at the time, yet saw the benefit in amalgamating their complementary skills and values to form PPHS as joint directors.

The livestock company soon expanded into rural and residential real estate in both Naracoorte and Penola, with last month’s celebration evening including the unveiling of new branding which will be in place before the end of the financial year.

“It has grown much more than we could ever have imagined when we started,” Mr Steen said.
