LIMESTONE Coast Police are investigating a four-car crash on the Princes Highway yesterday morning, which caused one vehicle to spin out on the high speed road.

Police and emergency services were first called to the crash – which occurred near Tantanoola – at around 8.10am yesterday.

All occupants escaped with no serious injuries while the pile-up caused delays for drivers travelling on the main arterial route between Mount Gambier and Millicent.

Limestone Coast Police operations manager Inspector Campbell Hill said it was unclear what caused the crash.

“It is fortunate there were no serious injuries and we will continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash,” Insp Hill said.

Country Fire Service volunteers remained on the scene for a couple of hours cleaning debris off the road.
