Limestone Coast Police yesterday confirmed it was investigating the fire, which ignited in scrub around 4pm just north of Nangwarry.

The fire was located about 700 metres west of the Riddoch Highway and had burnt about 50 metres by 40 metres of grass and scrub before it was extinguished by fire crews, which were supported by the CFS water-bombing aircraft.
