BACKING for an ambitious arts project in Millicent has recently come from Wattle Range Council.
Mayor Des Noll recently called at the Millicent Arts and Crafts Centre with a $300 cheque towards the cost of a new kiln.
Centre secretary Lyn Bowering said her club still had $4000 to raise for the Fifth Street facility.
“So far the Millicent community has been very supportive and have supported our raffles very well,” Ms Bowering said.
“We have also received donations from community members which have been very gratefully accepted.
“We are having a trivia night on September 20 at the Millicent Bowling Club and it will be a great fun night out.”
