AFTER three years of providing quality gifts and cards to customers of all ages, In Store will close its doors on Friday, August 9.

“It’s heartbreaking, but I know it’s the right thing to do,” owner Christine Try said.

Ms Try went into business in Millicent in 2012 with a variety store and set up In Store in 2016.

“We wanted to be a one-stop shop for gifts,” Ms Try explained.

Last year she purchased DJ Interiors in Mount Gambier.

“I just could not give this shop the time and attention that it deserves,” she said of In Store.

“I cannot thank the staff enough for all of their help and support over the last eight to nine months, they have been wonderful.

“It’s a decision that I have not made lightly. Last Christmas was fantastic and kids love coming in here.

“Thank you to all of the customers who have supported us over the years.”

Following the announcement In Store will close, there was an outpouring of goodwill from the community.
