A FIELD of 64 women took to the Beachport Bowling Club greens for its fish day tournament last Wednesday.
Played in fours, teams enjoyed three games each in trying conditions, with the wind proving a challenge.
In the end it was the Bordertown team of skipper Di Murch, plus Wendy Twigden, Glenda Tink and Judy Lack who took home the victory.
They were followed by Millicent skipper Sarah Ross and her team of Adriana Ross, Margaret Fennell and Judy Lowe, who secured the runners-up honours.
