Farmers urged to address ‘serious weed’

OUT OF CONTROL: Landowners have been encouraged to manage any dog rose (Rosa canina) and sweet briar (Rosa rubiginosa) vegetation due to wild rose plants displacing native vegetation and providing shelter for rabbits and foxes which are priority pests in the region.
