FORMER Millicent and Beachport resident Naome Burdon, proprietor of Argyle Travel and Cruise, was overjoyed to be recently presented with the encouragement award at the Travellers Choice National Conference in Cairns.
Following another successful year with improved growth and expansion of staff, Naome said she felt all of her hard work was paying off.
According to the Travellers Choice website, the award recognises a member of a smaller agency who has demonstrated significant support and growth in preferred supplier selling.
“Now I really agree with the saying ‘if you believe you can achieve, you can’,” Naome said.
“I’m ever so proud of my Travellers Choice family.
“I share in some very impressive company.
“That’s why I set my sights on our group’s encouragement award a couple of years ago.
“I might not turn over $5m+ per annum like some others, but I love working hard, providing an authentic experience and exceeding my clients’ expectations.
“Are there better moments than when you succeed on a goal?
“I am so delighted to have won the Travellers Choice Encouragement Award at our national conference.
“It is great recognition from my peers that my business is continuing to head in a great direction.”
Naome operates Argyle Travel and Cruise as a home based agent from her Wrattonbully farm and services her offices both in Millicent and Kingston.
