A HISTORICAL book depicting the history of Coonawarra’s oldest vineyard – Wynns Coonawarra Estate – was launched recently after the completion of a 15 year process.
“Out of the Blocks” is the product of a trio of authors, Sunday Mail Newspaper columnist Lainie Anderson, Wynns viticulturist Allen Jenkins and Wynns winemaker Sarah Pidgeon.
Ms Pidgeon said she hoped the book rekindled pride around the community’s history and reflected on where it was going.
“It is great to share this moment with the families who have contributed their stories to the book,” she said.
“The launch was all about them.”
