NATURAL Resources South East will facilitate a Pathways to Productivity forum in Keith on February 15.
Regional Landcare Facilitator Caroline Menzel said presentations will be relevant for landholders and managers, business partners, agronomists and anyone with an interest in sustainable agriculture.
“We’re really excited to have secured a range of speakers with relevant experience in their field,” Ms Menzel said.
“Our keynote speaker Carolyn Miller is a well-recognised marketing strategist and panellist on ABC’s Gruen.
“Carolyn will present on her experience in red meat marketing and explore the image of Australian farmers.”
Other presenters include Dannielle England who will be talking about decision making and Dan and Mike Hayes from SmartData who will talk tech and how to stay connected on farm.
Ken Solly, known across the state for his weekly Stock Journal feature ‘Mind Your Own Business’, will facilitate the day including question and answer sessions at the end of each presentation.
“There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, network with other people and chat to the speakers one on one,” said Ms Menzel.
“It’s great to have such high quality speakers in our region to share their experiences and our staff will also be on hand to talk about any land management issues.
“All landholders and anyone with an interest in and connection to agriculture are invited to attend.”
The forum will be held at the Keith Institute and is free to attend, with morning tea and lunch provided.
Register online via Eventbrite by February 9.
