Boxing Day at the Valley Lake

SOUTH East residents and Christmas visitors flocked to the Valley Lake precinct on Boxing Day to enjoy sunny weather on the water.

The temperature in the city peaked at 27 degrees just before 2pm, though families were setting up sunshades and settling in for a day at the lake as early as 10am.

Shiny jet skis and speed boats were dotted across the glittering water early in the day with numbers swelling in the afternoon.
