Young achiever nominations sought

NOMINATIONS for the Channel 9 Young Achiever Awards are now open.

The awards recognise the hard work of South Australia’s outstanding young achievers and help them take the next step in their field of endeavour.

Nominations are being sought in a number of categories, including service to the community, creating change, rural health, resilience, leadership, service, social inclusion, worldwide sports and innovation.

This is your chance to thank someone that has impressed you or touched your life or the lives of those around you.

Finalists will be presented and winners announced at an awards gala presentation dinner on May 11 at the Hilton Adelaide.

All nominees who are able to attend the awards dinner will be presented on stage with a framed certificate in recognition of their achievements.

Category winners will each receive a $1000 award prize along with a $1000 account and a trophy.

One of the 12 winners will be chosen as the Premier’s Channel 9 Young Achiever of the Year and will receive a state trophy, a further $2000 and an additional $1000 account plus a holiday package.

Visit www.awardsaustralia.com/sayaa and click “nominate now” to submit a nomination.

Nominations close January 19.
