Grant encourages greener futures

LIMESTONE Coast primary schools and early learning centres are set for a greener future, with applications now open for the first round of the Woolworths Junior Landcare Grants program.

“The program was funded through Woolworths Bag for Good sales launched on June 20 and would not have been possible without the support from surrounding South East customers,” group manager Chad Hamnett said.

“The Bag for Good sales have raised over half a million dollars towards the program, which will help young Australians be hands-on with gardening and recycling projects.
