Non-stop motorsport entertainment drifts seaside

PORT MacDonnell was the spot to be on the weekend for drifting enthusiasts, with a field of 40 drivers enjoying two days of non-stop drift action.

The Shockworks Bayside Spring Matsuri was conducted by the South East Motorsport Alliance and was hailed a great success.

The drivers, family, friends and crew made the trek from as far as Adelaide, Melbourne and Port Augusta for the event, which was described not as a competition, but a freestyle relaxed drift session where drivers can run on their own, or as part of a drift train involving up to five cars.
