THE all new 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander has hit the market recently with a host of different features.

The 2019 model is available in different variants including petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) for the more environmentally concious drivers.

A big competitor in the family market, the Outlander’s roomy interior gives generous head and legroom in addition to plenty of storage space with the seven seat models equipped with completely folding rear seats.

The vehicle has blind spot warning, lane change assist, lane departure warning and rear cross traffic alert safety features built in in addition to many others.

Mitsubishi’s electronic control AWD uses intuitive sensors to maximise control, evolving so driver intention is conveyed through all four wheels.

Three driving modes balance fuel economy and driving performance including an eco mode, an auto mode and AWD lock for high ground covering ability.

The 2019 model has received an exterior update including a twin-blade grille with black mesh inserts and silver garnish, updated front and rear bumper design with fog light surround and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The LS petrol model has a 7.2L/100km fuel consumption, 124kW of power and 220Nm of torque from its 2.4L engine.

Inside you can expect six speakers, smart phone link display audio with 7-inch touch screen, Bluetooth phone connectivity and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Overall the Outlander is a comfortable family vehicle, with enough interior space and safety features to please the most fastidious buyer.
