Royal cake honour

IN THE KITCHEN: A self-confessed baking lover, Carolyn Lambert always has something in the oven. Her wealth of experience has been recognised when she was asked to judge the Royal Adelaide Show Genoa cake and rich fruit cake competitions.

THE prestigious rich fruit cake and Genoa cake baking competitions were held at the Royal Adelaide Show (RAS) recently with Penola resident Carolyn Lambert invited to judge the events.

A veteran on the show scene, Ms Lambert has been judging cooking competitions for many years but this was the first year she had the opportunity to judge at the RAS.
