Fresh winery perspective

ARTISTIC FLAIR: Penola High School students Chloe and Ruby-Lee put their photography skills to the test during a recent school excursion to Brands Laira.

PENOLA High School Year 9 and 10 visual arts photography and multimedia students recently visited Brands Laira Winery to take photographs for the 2018 Penola Show photography competition.

Manager Peter Weinberg took students on a tour revealing various parts of the winery and the processes behind winemaking.

Students made the most of the photogenic scenery, including the old stone cellar, the vineyards, stained wine barrels and industrial elements such as steel ladders.
