Robert hits the road for charity challenge

MAKING TRACKS: Kalangadoo man Robert Stewart takes a well-deserved rest after cycling 35km for charity last week.

KALANGADOO man Robert Stewart put his pedal to the metal as he cycled more than 35km for charity last week.

The avid cyclist rode from Kalangadoo to Millicent on Friday morning as part of the upcoming Swagtember campaign to raise awareness for homelessness.

Mr Stewart hit the road at 8am, arriving at his destination just under four hours later.

“I thought I did alright to make it in that time,” he said.

Robert also faced the tough hill areas around Mount Burr and Mount Muirhead.
