1974 Holden HQ Monaro 308

A PENOLA father-and-son team will trek across Australia in their stylish 1974 308 HQ Monaro to assist in raising vital funds for the Leukaemia Foundation next month.

Jeff Pahl and son Josh will be participating in the Aussie Muscle Car Run and will drive – as team “Cruzin Q” – to Sydney on October 27 and end their journey in Adelaide on November 4.

The Monaro has a 308ci engine and was purchased in 2005.

Resoration work included the car’s upholstery.

“The original seat trim has been restored with a hounds tooth cloth pattern and restoration has been conducted on the engine and gear box,” Mr Pahl said.
