AROUND 30,000 South Australian tenants on low or fixed incomes started receiving a State Government Cost of Living Concession last week.
The cost of living concession is paid directly into bank accounts to help with expenses like energy and water bills.
Payments of up to $101.40 will be made to eligible South Australians on low or fixed incomes.
Tenants who received the concession last year will automatically receive this year’s payment if their circumstances remain unchanged.
It is expected that all payments will be made by the end of February.
The concession is available to pensioners, retirees, people receiving payments from Centrelink and low income
