Advocacy for older Barker residents

MEMBER for Barker Tony Pasin has announced a free support network is now available to stand up for the rights of older people in need in Barker.

“The government understands that, from time to time, older people, their families and carers need help to navigate their legal and aged care rights,” Mr Pasin said.

“The new Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN) will be of great benefit to our senior residents by giving them a strong voice.”

The new service can be accessed online or via a free call number.

“Barker residents will be automatically connected with our local South Australian advocacy organisation,” Mr Pasin
